So now the cruise portion of our trip is over, and we’ve arrived back in Rome. On this leg of our journey, we took the time to visit the Vatican City (which is a country in it’s own, legal right) – including Trevi Fountain, the Basilica, the Vatican Museum, and – of course – the Sistine Chapel! First up are photos from the walk to Trevi Fountain! It’s said that if you throw a coin over your left shoulder into the fountain, that you will someday return to Rome… although I heard that said of several fountains in the area – so I’m guessing this is just another way to recoup some money from tourists (lol).
